Got home after work today and when I opened the incubator I have one baby beardie out of the egg and another 3 with there heads poking out.
I checked on the bearded dragon eggs in the incubator yesterday and they seem to be doing good. All of them are nice and swollen and big so in the next few weeks I will have a bunch of new babies running around.
Got a big surprise today while working in my reptile room. As I was busy I decided to dig up my emperor scorpion from her burrow as I haven't seen her for awhile, just to make sure she didn't die. So I dug her out and to my surprise I found one very heavily pregnant scorpion. I was so excited as I was hoping she would be pregnant, but I wasn't sure.
Here is a pic I took of her showing how big she is I am starting to think that I was lied to when purchasing the White lipped tree viper pair and the female is in fact not pregnant. She seems to be getting thinner not fatter and today I decided to put the male back in with her and he was all over her, trying to mate and she seemed to be receptive. Haven't seen then coupling yet, but will keep my eyes open. Hopefully she will now get pregnant. Will keep you updated on her progress.
