It has been as sad day today. We lost our male viper today, woke up this morning to find him dead in the enclosure. Very sad to loose this little guy, but luckily he is still going to be a daddy soon as his wife shed last week so she is close to giving birth to their new babies soon.

Got our first clutch of 13 corn snake eggs this morning from our Creamsicle female. Hopefully we will be getting some nice babies from her.
Our second clutch of bearded dragons started hatching today, they took a bit longer than expected, but they are finally here.
The first batch of Bearded Dragons started hatching today will be available soon
Our second clutch of corn eggs started hatching. Looks like they are majority ghosts, with some albinos and one snow so far but only 6 have hatched so far still another 11 still to hatch will post some pics as soon as all the babies are out!
Our first clutch of corn snakes started hatching and they are beautiful. They will be up for sale soon (The ones I don't decide to keep lol)
Here are some pics of the new babies Dad was a Ghost Corn and Mom was a striped Snow So I got the babies out of the cage last night and there were 6, but one was deformed and didn't make it. 3 Males and 2 Females that are healthy. No just to get them on pinks!
Here are some pics This morning before we left for work I checked in on the vipers and found the female back up in the branches, not in the bush she had been lying in for the last two weeks, and noticed that she was slimline again. I looked in the bush she was lying and there I saw a few babies and some duds lying around so I knew she had given birth.
Will check now when I get home how many there are and post some pics of the babies. Can't wait to get home!!!!!!!!!! Hey guys!
Just wanted to tell you about this program I discovered called Herper Pro, it is great for keeping records of your reptiles, so for those of you who are interested just click on the link on my home screen and go and download it, I promise you won't be sorry! It is that time of the year again when all our critters have started their mating rituals and soon we will have a bunch of little ones around again.
Our animals are all in breeding mode and thing look very promising for this year. All our female corns are at this moment very close to laying their clutches as I can feel the eggs inside them when I handle them. The Ball Pythons I am not sure of as I haven't seen them mating and I feel no signs of eggs inside of her, but still holding thumbs. Emperor Scorpion is one that is driving me crazy as well as the White lipped tree viper, both of them are pregnant, but I have no idea when they are planning to give birth. It is just one long waiting game with them, but we are patient and will be so excited the day those babies make their appearance. So here is wishing all you breeders out there a very successful breeding season and may all your eggs produce lovely little ones and remember we are here if you want to sell those babies when they are ready so feel free to contact us. |
